The instrument measure apparent melt viscosity over the entire range of shear stresses up to 20 Mdynes/cm2 and shear rates up to 1000000 sec-1 . There is some rust present on this Monsanto Capillary Rheometer and some of the relays may need to be replaced. A manual comes with the system.
